Directing credits include: Over the Tavern, I Love My Wife, Once On This Island, A Year with Frog and Toad, Bat Boy, Cabaret, Rent, High School Musical, The Wiz, Oliver!, 13: The Musical, Annie, Into The Woods, the educational touring production of The New Kid, Disney Theatricals pilot production of The Little Mermaid Jr. and the pilot production of The Secret Garden: Spring Version. Marc also served as “Munchkin Director” for the MSG production of The Wizard of Oz. Marc adapted the book, music and lyrics as well as directed the developmental workshop production of Zombie Jr Prom for the Samuel French inc. Marc is the show creator of Here I Am as part of the Broadway to Beijing Project with New York City's performing arts high schools.
Marc has worked with young actors all over the United States teaching acting workshops with Explore America, Travel Adventures, Arts for All, Hands on Broadway, Camp Broadway, Dodger Theatrical’s Broadway production of 42nd Street and as Drama Director at The South Shore Dance Theatre and Program Director for Playhouse Junior at Saint Michael’s Playhouse in Northern Vermont. Marc is currently on the directing staff at The Random Farms Kids Theater in Westchester County, NY. In 2007, Marc started Broadway Workshop, now one of New York’s top training programs for young actors.
Marc’s students have appeared on Broadway in Shrek: The Musical, Mary Poppins, The Color Purple, How The Grinch Stole Christmas, Les Miserables, Sunday in the Park with George, West Side Story, Ragtime, Bye Bye Birdie, The Addams Family, Finian’s Rainbow, War Horse, The Lion King and People in the Picture. On TV in The Backyardigans, Blues Clues, Saturday Night Live, Third Watch, Body of Proof, The Naked Brothers Band, All My Children, One Life To Live, 30 Rock, Ugly Betty, Mercy, Law and Order and many more.
As an actor, Marc has appeared as “Eugene” in Brighton Beach Memoirs, Biloxi Blues and Broadway Bound at theaters across the U.S. Other regional and New York credits include “Yonkers” in Gypsy staring Patti LuPone and directed by Lonny Price, Spelling Bee, The Drowsy Chaperone, Dames at Sea, Lost In Yonkers, Into The Woods, Torch Song Trilogy, Oklahoma!, Oliver!, Shenandoah, The Dresser, Big River, Rags, Children of Eden, Pippin, Crazy For You, Pirates and Bring Back Birdie. Film/TV credits include: The Sopranos and A Beautiful Mind directed by Ron Howard.
